Without a Raspberry Pi on the inverter
Many owners read their Axpert with a small computer, a USB or serial cable and a script. It works until the SD card fails or the script stops after an update. MoniWatt for Axpert is a dedicated box that does only this job and sends the result to Home Assistant over MQTT.

The energy sensors are compatible with the Energy dashboard.
Automations
- Turn on the water heater when PV power exceeds the load by more than 1 kW.
- Notify when the inverter switches to battery mode because the grid failed.
- Switch off heavy loads when the battery voltage drops near your cut-off.
- Alert on any fault code.
